THRIVE 2024: Supporting Black Men’s Growth in Tech Careers
For Black men navigating the tech industry, Thrive 2024 is another significant event tailored to their experience. Hosted by BLK Men in Tech, the conference will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from October 10-13. This year’s agenda includes workshops on raising startup capital, mastering resume writing with AI, and securing executive roles, which are designed to address the specific challenges Black men encounter in the tech workforce. Thrive aims to help attendees turn setbacks into comebacks and create sustainable career growth through mentorship, skills development, and community-building.
The Thrive conference also provides sessions that go beyond technical skills, offering guidance on overcoming industry-specific challenges like racial bias and underrepresentation at the executive level. With its focus on professional and personal development, Thrive is helping Black men not only enter the tech industry but thrive within it by providing the tools they need to succeed.
